We had a breakfast recently for 20 retirees. Things couldn’t have been better. The dining room is beautiful and we were seated at a long table down the middle. Our server was attentive and cheerfully took all of our orders (with many special requests). Food arrived quickly and everyone enjoyed their meal. I love this new home for Izzy’s. It has a comfortable feel and the food is always just a step above anything else in the neighborhood. I can’t wait to have dinner here.

We have enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner at Izzy’s. The food and service are always great. Since we dine here a couple times a week, we love that they always have specials. The outdoor dining in the summer is the best in Batesville. You just can’t beat that Hillcrest golf-course view. The live music on the deck is a great addition. No need to drive to Cincinnati with Izzy’s right here in our backyard.

Can’t say how lucky we are to have Izzy’s as our go-to restaurant. I’ve lived and worked in several cities where a place like Izzy’s would be a hard table to get on most nights and the prices would be 50 % higher. The menu, while not overly complex, is complete. The good everyday hanger steak for $15 gives a great value and a well-seasoned beef option. The salmon is very dependable and always cooked perfectly to order. [...] Breakfast and lunch are always good but a nice long dinner is the best way to spend your time.
